New CEO at Prime Cargo

Morten Høilund has been appointed new Group CEO of Prime Cargo effective 1 June 2019. He replaces Jesper Bejstrup, who after 6 years at Prime Cargo has decided to leave the company.

After a period of decline, we have succeeded in turning the Prime Cargo Group around. We have had double-digit growth rates over the past few years, and both operationally and organizationally established a strong foundation for future growth. The time has therefore come to hand over the job to Morten Høilund, who has the right qualifications to carry Prime Cargo forward,” says Jesper Bejstrup

"Transport and, not least, the logistics area develops tremendously these years, and we will continue to create value for our customers and partners by offering flexible and innovative solutions," says Morten Høilund.

It is a well-known person for both the employees and customers who now have the overall responsibility for Prime Cargo, as Morten has been a part of the company since the beginning in 1998, where he was responsible for building the company's logistics to its leading market position in Scandinavia.

“I am looking forward to continuing my work at Prime Cargo. With our strong values and fantastic employees in Denmark, Poland, China and USA as well as an owner who is prepared to invest in the future, I am convinced that we will deliver strong results in the coming years to the benefit of both the company and our owner”, Morten Høilund concludes.
