TOP-TOY A/S launched its first web shop in 1999. It operated until 2003 with all logistics handled internally at TOP-TOY A/S. However, the market was not mature enough for e-commerce, which is why we chose to focus on in-shop sales in the years after that. We deemed the market to be fully ready for web sales in 2010 but based on all of our past experiences, this time we decided that we would outsource logistics to Prime Cargo. This makes it possible for us to focus on our core competence areas, yet simultaneously take advantage of a professional and flexible logistics setup.

Prime Cargo A/S has proven to be capable of keeping up with our growth and the large volumes we handle in the peak season without compromising quality.

The fact that Prime Cargo A/S scans all goods during the receipt and picking process ensures a very low error rate.

Our cooperation has also made it easier to launch new initiatives as it is not only our internal IT resources that are in charge of development. For example, Prime Cargo A/S has developed an option for gift wrapping where the customer decides what the to and from card should say while making the order in the web shop.

TOP-TOY A/S is really happy with our cooperation with Prime Cargo A/S, which is why we have chosen to extend the partnership for three more years.
